Spain’s Cuban cigar distributor Tabacalera S.L.U. has honored the famed Andalusian matador Juan Belmonte icon with a special-edition series of Romeo y Julieta Wide Churchills dubbed Tauromaquia y Juan Belmonte.
The third release in Spain’s Tauromaquia (“bullfighter in spanish”) series, which takes aged Cuban cigars from the normal Habanos range of sizes, and displays them in lacquered boxes illustrated with a bullfighter in action. The cigars themselves also feature a special third band at the cigar’s foot.
For this year’s release, the Romeo y Julieta Wide Churchills have been aged for a minimum of five years.
