The Cuban Quai d’Orsay Senadores Edición Limitada is slated to premier on September 12, at a launch party in Paris. This new Quai d’Orsay Senadores was previewed earlier this year at the Habanos Festival, marking the first time that a Quai d’Orsay has been released as an Edición Limitada. The cigar measures 6 1/8 inches by 48 ring gauge and will be released in elegant 25 count boxes.
It’s unsuprising that France will be the first market to get this new Edición Limitada. The Cuban brand was released in 1974 exclusively for the French market, with a focus on delivering a milder strength and flavour profile. Following decades of a shrinking product range, the brand seemed destined for deletion until 2017, when Habanos S.A. announced that Quai d’Orsay was being transitioned into a global brand. The brand has since seen new releases complete with modern, redesigned bands and packaging. This year marks Quai d’Orsay’s 45th anniversary.
There is no official date as to a wider global release of the Quai d’Orsay Senadores Edición Limitada.
