New Arrivals From Habanos, including Edicion Limitadas

BOLIVAR SOBERANO EDICION LIMITADA 2018 (5.5″ x 54)

As we reported back in November, the Boliver Soberano is a 2018 limited release in the Duke Format. Fans of the Bolivar can expect a full bodied smoke with rich, earthy notes of cocoa, espresso and dark berry. The Soberanos are smoking very well young and are an obvious candidate for long-term aging.

ROMEO Y JULIETA CAPULETOS EDICION LIMITADA 2016 (6″ x 53)

Medium-full in strength and flavour, the Romeo y Julieta Capuletos provide a complex flavour profile, with some creamy sweetness and notes of leather, cedar, sweet spices, peanut, cocoa and citrus.

H. UPMANN ROBUSTOS ANEJADOS (4.8″ x 49)

As with other releases in the Anejados series, the H Upmann Robustos Anejados have been aged between 5 to 8 years after rolling. Through the aging process, the cigar adopts a mellow, rounded profile, with imparted cedar notes. The blend is sweet and creamy, with notes of leather, roasted nuts and woodiness. Strength is mild to medium, a the cigar maintains it’s smooth,creamy character throughout.

The H. Upmann Robusto Anejado is now available on Cigars of Habanos. Box 25 – $320.

 

QUAI D’ORSAY 50 (4.4″ x 50)

The Quai D’orsay marca was launched in 1973 in conjunction with the French tobacco state tobacco company SEITA. The marca was named after a Paris street, and featured a mild blend specifically catered to French tastes. In 2015, the marca was cut down to a single regular production cigar and many fans feared the worse for the Quai D’orsay name. However, in December 2017 Habanos released 2 new cigars in the Quai D’orsay portfolio, the 50 and 54. The Quai D’orsay 50 is mild-medium strength Petit Robusto, and has all the hallmarks of the Quai D’orsay marca, with a creamy profile of sweet caramel, nuts and cedar.

ROMEO Y JULIETA PETIT ROYALES (3.7″ x 47)

There are no shortage of options in the Romeo y Julieta portfolio, but as one of Habanos’ most popular marcas, new releases are always on the horizon. Unlike the aforementioned Capuletos, the Romeo y Julieta Petit Royales are intended to be a regular production item. Blended in the classic medium RyJ profile, the Petit Royales are a Capricho format which offers a wonderful aroma, balance and complexity to be enjoyed in a shorter smoking window.
